Welcome to the NovaHubMC, an inclusive Minecraft community where creativity, teamwork, and respect come together. These rules outlines everything you need to know to participate responsibly in the Server. By joining, you agree to follow all rules and guidelines below.
These rules exist to create a fair, fun, and lag-free environment for everyone. Violations may lead to warnings, suspensions, or permanent bans depending on severity. The staff’s decisions are final in all matters of rule enforcement.
Every player is a valued member of the Server. To maintain a healthy environment, all members are expected to follow three guiding principles:
Respect: Treat others as you want to be treated.
Integrity: Play fairly, be honest, and own your actions.
Cooperation: Help others, share resources, and build together.
The Server thrives when everyone contributes positively and responsibly.
Respect all players and staff. Harassment, bullying, racism, sexism, hate speech, discrimination, or slurs are not tolerated.
No griefing or sabotage. Do not damage, steal, or alter another player’s property, builds, or redstone systems without permission.
Play fair. Hacked clients, X-ray packs, macros, and duplication glitches are strictly prohibited.
Do not exploit bugs or unintended mechanics. If you discover one, report it to an admin immediately.
No spamming or advertising. Refrain from repetitive messages, excessive capital letters, or promoting external servers or content.
Respect chat. Do not direct language to other players and try to avoid topics such as politics, religion. NSFW content is Banned!
Respect staff authority. Staff maintain order and have the final say in disputes.
No impersonation. Do not pretend to be staff or another player.
Respect boundaries. If someone asks you to leave their claim, do so respectfully.
Common sense applies. If you think something might be wrong, it probably is.
Claim your builds. Use claim system to mark ownership and prevent accidental modification.
Do not overclaim land. Only reserve what you can actively use. Massive unoccupied claims may be cleared.
No building too close to others without permission. Leave enough space between builds for expansion.
Public builds must be approved. Projects like shops, markets, or roads require admin confirmation as they will need to be reviewed.
Avoid eyesores. Floating structures, random dirt towers, and incomplete builds degrade Realm quality.
Do not block terrain features. Avoid obstructing villages, strongholds, rivers, or mountains that others may wish to use.
Repair all damage. If you cause damage, you are responsible for cleanup.
Keep lighting reasonable. Use torches, lanterns, or glowstone to reduce mob spawning without overloading chunk lighting.
Build responsibly in protected zones. Community hubs are for public use — do not alter them without approval from the player that owns it. Spawn is a no build zone!
No stealing resources. Only harvest crops, mine ores, or take materials from your own builds or public farms.
Replant crops after harvesting in community farms.
Do not overfarm or hoard. Leave resources for other players, especially in shared areas.
Avoid lag farms. Large-scale mob farms, item sorters, or automatic systems must be built efficiently.
No AFK automation. AFK fishing, mob grinders, or redstone loops that run continuously are not allowed.
The Nether and End are shared dimensions. Do not destroy or modify key structures like portals, hubs, or End gateways.
Dragon fights must be coordinated. Notify staff before respawning the Ender Dragon.
Do not monopolize rare resources. Share spawners, rare blocks, and structures fairly.
Maintain sustainability. Use renewable resources when possible in Survival or Please use the Resource World
Use the Server’s official currency or trade system. This is important as it is there for you to utilise.
No scamming. All trades, auctions, or sales must be fair and transparent.
Shops should be labeled. Include owner name, and any information not provided by the shops.
Do not destroy or block access to shops. Unless you own it.
Inactive shops. These may be cleared after 30 days of inactivity.
Do not monopolize rare items or fix market prices unfairly. This has a massive impact on server economy.
Report economy exploits (like infinite trades or currency glitches) immediately.
Bartering, auctions, and trading should be conducted in safe public areas to prevent theft.
Avoid lag-inducing builds. Continuous clocks, piston spam, or high-entity farms harm server performance.
Limit entity counts. Keep animals, villagers, and item frames reasonable.
Turn off machines when not in use. Idle redstone causes unnecessary lag.
Consult staff for mega projects. Large auto-farms, storage systems, or complex redstone contraptions require approval.
Keep redstone compact and clean. Avoid messy wiring that interferes with nearby builds.
Optimize chunk loading. Don’t force-load chunks without permission.
Redstone is a privilege, not a right. If a device severely impacts performance, staff may remove it.
Staff exist to help players, enforce rules, and manage the Realm.
Respect staff authority. If you disagree, appeal politely in private directly to me (Kieran).
Staff must remain impartial. Personal disputes should not affect enforcement.
No staff abuse. Misuse of powers (teleporting for loot, spawning items) may result in demotion.
Report misconduct with screenshots or video evidence (if possible).
Staff decisions are final unless overturned by the Realm Owner.
Players may appeal punishments respectfully through proper channels (Directly to Kieran).
Admins may update rules to improve gameplay or performance.
Inactive players (30+ days without notice) may lose land claims or shops.
Notify staff before extended absences to keep your builds protected.
Inactive builds may be relocated, archived, or removed after warning.
Returning players can request restoration of builds or items when possible.
Consistent activity keeps the Server vibrant and fair for all.
Be kind and helpful to new players. Offer guidance when possible.
Participate in events, group builds, and challenges to strengthen community ties.
Avoid toxic competitiveness. Minecraft is about creativity, not domination.
Share resources and help others grow.
Report problems constructively rather than arguing.
Keep chat positive, clean, and respectful.
Support the community by suggesting improvements or volunteering for projects.
Be proud of the Server — represent it positively wherever you play.
If you witness griefing or hacking, report it immediately with screenshots or coordinates.
Do not retaliate. Let staff handle rule enforcement.
Preserve evidence. Avoid repairing or editing damaged areas until staff review them.
Admins may restore damaged areas as needed.
Players involved in griefing will be permanently banned.
1st Offense: Verbal or written warning
2nd Offense: Temporary mute or kick
3rd Offense: Temporary ban (1–7 days)
4th Offense: Permanent ban
Hacking or using modified clients
Intentional griefing or theft
Hate speech or harassment
Duplication or economy exploits
Repeated rule-breaking after multiple warnings
Rules are subject to change at any time to adapt to new circumstances.
Players will be notified of major updates through Discord, in-game announcements, or the wiki.
Feedback is encouraged — the community helps shape the Realm.
By continuing to play, you accept any revised versions of these rules.
This Server exists for creativity, adventure, and friendship.
Work together, build amazing things, and make this world one worth exploring.
Remember: it’s not about being the richest, the strongest, or the most powerful — it’s about having fun, respecting others, and leaving behind something great for those who join after you.
